Job Opening: Marketing Manager

Atlantis Events, the world’s largest gay and lesbian travel company, is looking for a talented marketing manager to join our team in West Hollywood.

This exciting opportunity is for an individual to help us manage and develop the external image of both of our unique travel brands (Atlantis and RSVP) serving the gay and lesbian community.  This includes coordinating our print production for advertising and collateral projects, monitoring performance of our online assets, managing search word marketing, and assist with our direct marketing efforts. Our network of travel agents will depend on your efforts for clear communications and support.  Experience in managing creative professionals and media companies is essential.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of solid marketing experience, preferably from a direct to consumer service  firm or packaged goods company.

You must be able to write and communicate clearly,  with a solid background in quantitative analysis as well.  As our brand ambassador, you will support our marketing efforts in person at trade shows and at other direct to guest marketing opportunities.
Superior guest relation skills are essential along with an outgoing, approachable demeanor.

To qualify, you must be a great team player with strong accountability for your work and a strong sense of independence.  We are a small company, with a friendly and casual work environment. Requirements:

• Minimum 3+ years professional experience in consumer marketing, preferably direct
• Experience in the development and execution of direct marketing campaigns
• Clear understanding and experience in both print and online media
• Excellent analytical skills
• Basic working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite programs
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work on multiple projects
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Undergraduate Degree required, MBA a plus.
• Experience in travel, high-end consumer goods or services a plus, but not required.
