Our March Caribbean cruise has always been the cruise to explore, relax, and discover the calmer side of a winter vacation. In 2009, we reinvent this experience with the first charter aboard the brand new 2800 passenger Celebrity Solstice. Featuring a bold, striking, modern design that will forever change the way you look at a cruise ship. Sailing from Ft. Lauderdale on an original voyage to the Southern Caribbean. Imagine the possibilities as the most innovative ship in the world meets the entertainment and excitement of Atlantis for the very first time!

A Ship We’ve Only Dreamed Of
Where would you start if you wanted to raise the bar on the cruise experience? Start with spacious modern staterooms, with clean lines and resort-style amenities. Hire the world’s top designers to create smart, sexy public spaces. Create a variety of restaurants that rival top destinations in New York or London. Reinvent the spa experience to include unique guest rooms and over-the-top treatment options. And throw in a few unique features that you simply would never imagine on a ship, like a real grass lawn growing on her top deck.

And that’s just the beginning. The resort-style pool deck is bigger, more open, and features shady canopies throughout. The indoor Aquaspa rivals the best spas on land. You’ll enjoy more freedom in dining with more restaurants than ever, from casually sophisticated bistros to the modern elegance of Murano. Of course, featuring Atlantis’ signature open seating and completely casual (lack of) dress code. More lounges and unique gathering spaces offer the perfect place for friends. All in a relaxed, pampering setting that redefines elegance at sea.

Heading South in Style
We’ve created an unusual and original Caribbean itinerary to let you both enjoy the best of Solstice along with some of our favorite island. We start with our own private island as Solstice calls on the stunning, secluded island of Labadee for a day of total relaxation. Next, Casa de Campo offers a wide variety of cultural, sporting, and beach diversions in one of the most sophisticated resorts in the world while Catalina island provides the perfect counterpoint of unspoiled natural beauty – easily reached by boat during our day there. Finally, we’ll head south, way south, to the stunning island of Curacao, one of the most gay-friendly and diverse islands in the Caribbean. And, since we stay until 11 PM, you’ll have plenty of time to enjoy the restaurants and nightlife of this charming island.

And all of this wrapped around three magnificent days at sea, inviting you to relax and take advantage of the wonders of Solstice.

Fresh and Familiar Entertainment

Solstice features exciting new entertainment venues, like Celebrity Central, allowing Atlantis to showcase the best in new gay and lesbian talent. Of course, our theater will offer a mix of new talent and feature classic Atlantis entertainers in ways you’ve never seen them before. And we’ll continue our tradition of seeking out the best cabaret entertainment in the world to keep you laughing, singing, and amazed throughout the ship and into the night.

And what about Atlantis’ famous parties? The vast open decks of Solstice offer a magnificent space for afternoon t-dances as the sunsets over the Caribbean. At night we’ll create a masterpiece of sound, lighting, and special effects to set the stage for our theme parties and a variety of musical styles. Starring three of the top gay DJs from around the world. Plus, Solstice’s intimate Quasar nightclub provides the perfect place for an alternative sound or late-night event.

Be the First

Atlantis commitment to quality means that this is the first of many, many charters aboard Celebrity’s innovative class of ship. But now is the time to be the first to experience Solstice in 2009, but don’t delay as space is very, very limited!
